Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculturepig
Welcome

Welcome to Stone Barns Center for Food and Agriculture, 80 rolling acres of gardens, pastures and woods, where the rich traditions of community-based farming merge with the 21st century only 30 miles north of midtown Manhattan.

The Center is open to the public Wednesday-Sunday from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM. We are closed Mondays and Tuesdays. See our calendar for upcoming special events and ongoing activities.

For the safety of our visitors and to maximize farm production, we require that all visiting groups of 12 or more pre-register for programs led by Stone Barns staff. To schedule your group, please contact Diana MacDowell at 914 366 6200 x100 or dianam@stonebarnscenter.org.

Stone Barns has reinstituted a parking fee of $5 during daytime hours. A better-managed parking system helps Stone Barns ensure visitor safety, control traffic, and measure overall visitation. For more information on the parking policy, click here.
As always, parking is free for all Stone Barns members. To learn about membership, click here.

Stone Barns is pleased to welcome illustrator George Bates for a reading of Chicken Bedtime is Really Early. This is a fun bedtime tale which follows barnyard animals as they prepare to rest. Chickens seem to need the most rest, so they are the first to be tucked in. Join us as George reads, draws and sings to us. This program is appropriate for children ages 3–5 with their parents. Please meet in the Resource Center (behind the Farm Store/Visitor Center).
